Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Break it into crumbles while cooking. Drain excess grease.
Reduce heat to medium. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar (if using). Mix well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Taste and adjust the flavor if needed. Add more mustard for tanginess or a little brown sugar for extra sweetness.
Toast hamburger buns for extra flavor, then spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the buns. Serve hot and enjoy!
